Looking for love!

You have really given us a laugh here, Riley - I am sure this is exactly what Henry VIII would have written in a lonely hearts column!  You have included different ideas that show how much you have learned about him, and described him in lots of detail.  What a great piece of writing!

More battling at Bosworth

You would certainly have wanted Ellis and Lucas on your side at the Tudor battle.  These recounts describe them as brave and noble soldiers, and the use of wow words really helps to create atmosphere and tension.  Super writing, lads!

Anne Boleyn

These three ladies have produced beautiful portraits of Anne Boleyn, and have created stylish frames to mount their work.  You have really paid attention to detail.  Well done Abigail, Nicole and Ellie-May!

Battle of Bosworth

Here are six authors who know exactly how to build up tension by using 'wow' words, engaging writing techniques, a range of punctuation ... the list goes on.  Mason, Harry, Oslo, Isobel, Elsa and Aimee's accounts of the Battle of Bosworth are VERY effective pieces of writing.  Well done folks!

... and the mouse looked good.

That poor little mouse!  After having the Gruffalo wanting to eat him, Leo, Achchira, Emiah and William have described some more animals and monsters who want to gobble up the mouse in the deep, dark wood.  They have used some great adjectives to describe these creatures - what very grown-up writing!

Swimming like a fish

Enzo has been working really hard in the swimming pool and has this fabulous certificate to prove it.  He is now working for his Stage 2 badge.  Soon he will be able to swim all the way across Diss Mere, except he is worried that the alligators might nibble his toes!  Well done, superstar!

Best behaviour

Mrs Clarke is so pleased with Leo because he has had such a super-duper day!  He has worked hard and behaved beautifully - and they love having him in Hedgehogs.  Well done, Leo!

Maths maestro!

Well, here is a mathematical genius if ever we met one!  Jack has used some amazing reasoning and calculation skills to work out multi-step word problems, and he was the only one who got the answer.  Well done, brainbox!
